Methodology & Data Sources
Trust in a price reference is only built through transparency. This page explains where Narkhgah’s data comes from, how often it refreshes and how its accuracy is controlled.
Currency and gold data come from aggregating established market sources (price information networks and quotes from trusted Tehran exchange offices), and rate stability is monitored by cross-checking several sources. Cryptocurrency data refreshes from global APIs that aggregate prices across exchanges, with Toman prices calculated through the domestic Tether rate; stock market data comes from the official channels of Iran’s capital market.
No data goes unmonitored: automated systems check the freshness and health of every source, and on suspicious discrepancies a fallback source or a warning state kicks in. Our goal is to display the number that best reflects the market at every moment.
